I did not find her shenanigans endearing or even cute. Even to poor Brynne herself who had no idea. She practically blurted to anyone that Brynne was pregnant.

She had such a huge mouth and in turn raised some issues that made me dislike her. I am not an evil person who usually hates on children but Zara just pissed me off. The ending was the usual sugary sweetness from most romance books where the two leads are sickenly sweet to each other. Unfortunately it happened very quickly and left me with a who cares feeling. The ending was coming closer and closer and I was already expecting the bad guy to mess with the happy flow of things. The story as a whole is very romantic sprinkled with issues such as Ethan's nightmares and Brynne's pregnancy. Really? After Karl spent all this time trying to take Brynne down he was dense enough to have a phone at hand for her to swipe? Ridiculous. Even if it was possible that goes to show how stupid the villain was. I hated how easily Brynne gave out her location to Ethan via Facebook. His reasoning for being after Brynne was weak and I was not impressed with the quick way that Brynne's kidnapping took place. I was not surprised nor did I care much for the guy who's been threatening Brynne throughout the trilogy. They called it raspberry, blueberry and olive etc. I especially liked that they referred to their baby as the size of different fruit as the baby grew. Letting her know that he loves her no matter what came their way unplanned. Ethan being attentive to her needs and mood swings. There was this sensibility to the way her pregnancy was written. Anyone could of seen this coming when Brynne started feeling sick on that car ride at the end of book two. It was great seeing him take such great care of her and her condition. He is more attentive and very much in love with Brynne. After what they went through in the first two books I definitely noticed a change in Ethan in a good way. Will they yield to circumstances beyond their control or will they give every ounce of fight they have left to save each other and win the ultimate prize of a life together? Brynne and Ethan are on the cusp of losing everything as the stakes rise. A truly devastating loss coupled with the promise of a new hope opens their eyes to what is most important, but is it possible for the lovers to move on from the painful histories that continue to haunt them?
